Where exactly is our hunting area?

We are located of Highway 29 between Fort St. John and Hudson's Hope, in Northern British Columbia, Canada. We are 1 hour and 15 minutes from the Fort St. John airport where we pick up and deliver our clients. For those that choose to drive here it is very easy to find the ranch.

The hunt area is 2700 square miles of agricultural and ranch land along the Peace River. There are logging blocks along the foothills of the Rockies, and higher alpine meadows of the Hackney Hills which are part of the Muskwa Ranges. All of which are excellent hunting grounds!

The Halfway River is our eastern boundary, The Chowade River our northern, and the Peace our southern. The Graham river flows out of the Rockies through the middle of the country and dumps into the Halfway. These rivers all add to the availability of big game and also give great opportunities for fishing! (See the Fishing page)

Ray & Sharon Jackson have lived in the Peace River area of Northeastern British Columbia for many years, and have been outfitting in the area since 1991. They live as well as work in their hunting country year round, running their own ranching operation in addition to outfitting. Ray has been guiding since 1978.
